The Owlery Wildlife Park opened its gates in 2007 in the territory of the Szolnok Forestry of the NEFAG S.A., in a wonderful forest environment. The wildlife park located next to the characteristic lowland landscape and diversified habitat – the softwood groves, the high floodplain hardwood groves, the planted forests, wooded strips, tree groups, heath, pasture – provides excellent possibility to meet the animals living here and to  learn a bit more about them. The people visiting the Owlery Wildlife Park, from the young to the old ones, can get acquainted with the wild animals of Lowland, and the domestic and domesticated animals. Under the woods providing shadow, you have the opportunity to observe the behavior of the animals in their natural environment, and in the petting zoo even to meet them up close. There is a small forest lake in the territory of the wildlife park, the wildlife and significance of which is explained to the visitors on the information board.
